Digital Photography

I use a professional quality Canon SLR digital camera with 8.2 Megapixels. It is capable of producing film quality prints up to 11.7 x 16.5 in. and larger.

Session Fees:

$85 per hour
$300 for 4 hours
$560 for 8 hours (includes half hour meal break)

The session fees includes the cost of hiring me as a photographer and post production. All other costs are in addition to this base rate and would be negotiated with the client. Examples of additional costs are: Hiring a hair/makeup stylist, additional production expenses, and sales tax.

Each digital session includes a medium resolution photo proof CD of all usable images taken. Additional CDs are $15.00 each.

Website Special

If you are only interested in images that would be used on a website that I am currently creating or updating, a special lower rate can be negotiated. These images would be of lower quality and would be for uses on your website only.

Digital Retouching

Retouching of the Photography can be done for $40.00 per hour. Cost can vary depending on how much retouching needs to be done per image. (One hour minimum charge)

Travel Expenses

When needed to travel out side of the Sacramento City Limits: There is a $0.75 per mile charge to the location and back again. For example, if the location is 15 miles from my office, there will be a travel expense of $22.50 added to the bill.

Copyright

I need to point out that according to copyright law, I will hold and reserve all rights pertaining to copyright as the photographer. This means that any photographs taken may be used for personal or self-promotional use, but they cannot be reproduced or sold for a profit. Furthermore, the images cannot be used for any commercial purpose without my expressed written consent. Any desired commercial use can be negotiated to reflect a fair market value for the use of my work. I sincerely appreciate your understanding in this.

Proper credit must be given when any images are used or printed in any media format, I must be indicated as the photographer unless otherwise negotiated.
